Petre Gruzinski – well known Georgian writer and poet, member of Georgian royal family, an author of many poems, miniature, lyrics and honored art worker of Georgia, was born in 1920,
28 th of March. He started his career since 1933. In 1941 he graduated from Tbilisi State
University, faculty of philology. He is an author of many librettos of musical comedies. His lyrics
were used by outstanding Georgian composers, such as: Giorgi Tsabadze, Bidzina Kvernadze,
Otar Tevzadze and Revaz Laghidze. His creative work is a part of the following movies: “Bashi-
Achuki”, “Dghe Pirveli, Dghe Ukanaskneli”,
