Gogi Tsabadze

Giorgi Tsabadze – well known Georgian composer, people’s artist, honorary citizen of Tbilisi,
founder of Georgian Estrada music, operetta, musical comedy and musical theatre, was born in
1924, 24 th of August, in Tbilisi. In 1956 he graduated from Tbilisi State Music Academy. He has
worked for Georgian State Concert Hall and television. His acknowledgement was followed by
songs: “Mtatsmindis mtvare”, “Tbilisis mukhambazi”, “Qucha-qucha, etc. His music was used in
the following movies: “Veris Ubnis Melodiebi, “Mkhiaruli Romani”, “Moitatses Tamar Qali”.
